China Pharmaceutical University and Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Established the “Industry and Education Integration Center for International Students”

To further serve the construction of the "Health Silk Road," implement the "One Belt One Road" initiative, and boost the "Going Out" of Chinese Medicine and famous pharmaceutical enterprises, China Pharmaceutical University (hereinafter referred to as CPU) and Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group (hereinafter referred to as YRPG) held the signing ceremony of the "Internationalization Strategic Cooperation Agreement" and the inauguration ceremony of the "Industry and Education Integration Center for International Students" at YRPG in Taizhou City on November 7. Vice President of CPU, Professor Kong Lingyi, Mr. Ding Zhiqiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Working Committee and Director of Management Committee of Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Chief Executive of Gaogang District, and Mr. Xu Haoyu, Chairman of YRPG, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
为进一步服务“健康丝绸之路”建设，落实“一带一路”倡议，助推中医药“走出去”、知名药企“走出去”，11月7日，中国药科大学与扬子江药业集团举行国际化战略合作协议签约暨“中国药科大学留学生产教融合教育中心”揭牌仪式。中国药科大学副校长孔令义，泰州医药高新区管委会主任、代区长丁志强，扬子江药业集团董事长徐浩宇出席揭牌仪式并致辞。

Vice President Kong Lingyi pointed out in his speech that the university has always advocated and encouraged the open-up development direction, closely combined with the resource advantages of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" and the needs of Chinese medicine and famous pharmaceutical enterprises "Going Out." The university has been promoting cooperation with famous domestic pharmaceutical enterprises for international student cultivation and, the integration between industry and education, as well as between science and education. The university has been combining the functions of international talents education, international students training, and internship, and serving science and technology innovation to ensure the cohesion of education, training, innovation, and industry. At the same time, we expect to take the signing of the strategic agreement and the establishment of the Industry and Education Integration Center as an opportunity for the university and enterprises to work together to expand international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation and contribute to the opening up of China's pharmacy education, the construction of the "Health Silk Road" and the construction of the human health community.

In the presence of the participants, Vice President Kong Lingyi and Chairman Xu Haoyu signed the "Internationalization Strategic Cooperation Agreement." They inaugurated the "Industry and Education Integration Center" with Mr. Ding Zhiqiang.

孔令义副校长在致辞中指出，学校一直倡导和鼓励开放式发展方向，紧密结合“一带一路”沿线国家和地区的资源优势和中医药国际化、知名药企国际合作过程中的人才需求，不断推动留学生培养与国内知名药企协同合作，打好“产学研用”组合拳，推进产教融合、科教融汇，将国际化人才培养、国际学生实训实习、服务科技创新等功能有机结合，推进教育链、人才链、创新链、产业链有机衔接。同时，期待以此次产教融合教育中心建立为契机，校企携手，拓展国际科技交流合作，为我国的药学教育对外开放，“健康丝绸之路”建设和人类卫生健康共同体构建贡献力量。

The cooperation between ACEC and CPU in industry-academia-research has been long-standing. In 2018, ACEC and CPU established an overseas liaison office to build a bridge for inter-university exchange and cooperation with universities in Southeast Asia and promoted the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between CPU and Malaysia's largest public university, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). In 2019, the University will set up student bases and industry-academia-research cooperation bases in Malaysia and Indonesia to vigorously promote "One Belt, One Road" education cooperation and actively explore and practice regional development.

ACEC与中国药科大学在产学研方面的合作由来已久，2018年，亚洲一带一路文化教育合作促进会(ACEC)与中国药科大学合作设立海外联络处，以此构建与东南亚地区高校校际间交流与合作的桥梁，推动药大与马来西亚最大的公立大学玛拉工艺大学签署合作备忘录；2019年在马来西亚及印尼合作设立生源基地和产学研合作基地，大力促进“一带一路”教育合作、积极探索与实践区域发展。

The launch of CPU Study Abroad Industry and Education Integration Center will drive the comprehensive cooperation between CPU and ACEC Association in pharmaceutical international industry-academia-research, and both parties plan to launch the Overseas Industry and Education Integration Center project within the year to promote the development of RCEP regional international talent cooperation and training and the deep integration of international industry-academia-research.

中国药科大学留学生产教融合中心的启动将带动药科大学与亚洲一带一路文化教育合作促进会（ACEC）在医药国际产学研方面的全面合作，双方计划在年内启动海外产教融合中心项目，推动RCEP区域国际人才合作培养与国际产学研用深度融合发展。
