ACEC Association and Study Go China Successfully Lead Chinese Universities on Education Promotion Tour in Malaysia and Indonesia

From May 2 to 8, 2025, the Asia China Education and Culture Association (ACEC Association), in collaboration with Study Go China, organized a delegation of Chinese universities to participate in a higher education fair in Malaysia and conduct institutional visits in both Malaysia and Indonesia.

During the visit to Malaysia, the delegation actively took part in the higher education exhibition, engaging with representatives from universities across the region and promoting the strengths and international initiatives of Chinese higher education. A key highlight was a series of meetings with relevant faculties of the University of Malaya, where both sides exchanged views on potential collaborations in student exchange, joint research, and academic development.

Following the Malaysia leg, the delegation traveled to Indonesia, where they hosted a student recruitment seminar to introduce Chinese universities, scholarship opportunities, and the study experience in China. The event attracted strong interest from local students and educators. In addition, the delegation held a productive meeting with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), one of Indonesia’s leading universities, to discuss future academic cooperation, faculty exchanges, and potential dual-degree programs.

This initiative marks another important step in expanding the presence and influence of Chinese higher education in Southeast Asia. ACEC Association remains committed to fostering international academic partnerships and building platforms for long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.
