In mid-June 2025, the College of Engineering at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) will lead a delegation of over 30 students to Suzhou, China, to take part in a specialised academic exchange programme focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0). This initiative is a collaboration between the Asia China Education and Culture Association (ACEC Association) and the BRI Cross Cultural Center (BRICC), and through it, ACEC aims to support UiTM in enhancing its students' global competencies, deepening academic collaboration, and exploring future opportunities for joint research and innovation partnerships. This initiative also reflects the growing importance of international mobility and cross-border cooperation in the era of digital transformation.

This program is designed to expose UiTM engineering students to cutting-edge technologies, academic research, and industrial applications in AI and IR4.0. During the visit, the delegation will engage with top Chinese universities and innovation-driven enterprises in Suzhou, one of China's key high-tech hubs. Activities will include campus tours, technical workshops, and site visits to smart manufacturing facilities and AI labs.

Through this initiative, ACEC aims to support UiTM in enhancing its students' global competencies, deepening academic collaboration and exploring future opportunities for joint research and innovation partnerships. The initiative also reflects the growing importance of international mobility and cross-border cooperation in the digital transformation era.
