ACEC Malaysia and China Offices Visit Universiti Teknologi Malaysia to Explore AI Collaboration Opportunities

On August 1, 2025, representatives from the Malaysia and China offices of the Asia China Education and Culture (ACEC) Association paid an official visit to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The delegation held in-depth discussions with the UTM Vice-Chancellor, as well as several Deans and Deputy Deans, focusing on potential collaborations in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The meeting explored a wide range of cooperation opportunities, including AI-related industry-academia programs, curriculum integration, joint research, visiting scholar initiatives, and short-term exchange programs. Both sides expressed strong interest in leveraging each other's strengths to promote AI-driven innovation and educational exchange between China and Malaysia.

As one of Malaysia's leading engineering universities, UTM brings robust research capabilities and an international outlook, aligning closely with ACEC's mission to foster China–ASEAN educational and technological collaboration. The visit marked a significant step toward establishing long-term, practical cooperation between institution in China and Malaysia.
