The Asia China Education and Culture (ACEC) Association recently paid visits to Nilai University, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to engage in discussions on strengthening cooperation between ASEAN and China in the fields of education, technology, and industry.
Building on these exchanges, ACEC is actively advancing a structured portfolio of programmes aimed at facilitating ASEAN participation in China-focused initiatives. These efforts are designed to support talent development, capacity building, and industry collaboration through a multi-level and sustainable cooperation framework.
Key initiatives include the Industry Exposure Programme for students, which focuses on structured learning and experiential engagement to enhance understanding of China’s industrial, technological, and innovation ecosystems. In parallel, ACEC is promoting the AI Capacity Programme for academics, researchers, and domain experts, with an emphasis on capability enhancement in artificial intelligence and related emerging fields. In addition, the AI Industry Engagement Programme targets public sector stakeholders and enterprises, fostering dialogue and collaboration on AI applications, industry practices, and cross-border cooperation.
ACEC will continue to serve as a platform linking China and ASEAN, integrating resources from universities, research institutions, industry, and the public sector to advance practical cooperation and support long-term regional development.
