China-ASEAN AI Strategic Engagement Programme for Public Sector (11–17 April)

From 11 to 17 April 2026, the China-ASEAN AI Strategic Engagement Programme for Public Sector was successfully held, bringing together more than 20 public sector representatives, institutional partners, and industry stakeholders from China and ASEAN countries.

The programme aimed to strengthen mutual understanding of the latest developments in artificial intelligence, smart governance, and digital transformation. Through a series of meetings, presentations, and site visits, participants gained valuable insights into the practical application of AI technologies in public administration, education, and industry.

The programme also served as an important platform to promote future cooperation in talent development, policy exchange, and technology collaboration between China and ASEAN.
