Video conference on international co-supervision program and other related activities between ACEC Association, UKM Shape and Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET) School of Information and Communication

On Wednesday, April 7th 2022, an online meeting was held between ACEC Association, UKM Shape and Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET) School of Information and Communication to discuss international co-supervision programme, as well as matters such as research collaborations and international workshop collaborations.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Regional Director of ACEC Association, Mr. Yang Chengcheng, Secretary General of ACEC Association, Ms. Siti Farah, Head of International Talent Training Program of ACEC Association, Ms. Grace Lee, Secretary of ACEC Association, Ms. Nur Liyana alongside with the Head of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Faculty, Prof Shahrul Azman Mohd Noah and his team members, Ms. Nurul Illiyaliyana and Mr. Muhammad Haniff. On GUET’s side, the Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. Liu Qinghua, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Cheng Guoxin and Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange, Li Xiangbin and the team Ms. Kun yan and Mr. Wu have joined the meeting as well.

The established alliance is expected to proceed with various exchange activities with member universities in the near future, with the current co-supervision programme launched as a kick start. The alliance aims to showcase the member universities’ capabilities through these programs and enhance the communication and relationship between members through exchange activities involving student and experts, research collaborations and providing scholarships for outstanding students.

The video conference was deemed to be fruitful and conclusive, with all parties keen on the launching of the planned programs. The session ended with a group photo session.

ACEC、UKM Shape和桂林电子科技大学(GUET)信息与通信学院就国际联合督导项目及其他相关活动召开视频会议。

2022年4月7日星期三，ACEC、UKM Shape和GUET信息与通信学院举行了在线会议，讨论国际联合督导计划以及研究合作和国际研讨会合作等事宜。

出席会议的有ACEC执行会长杨程成先生、ACEC秘书长西蒂法拉女士、ACEC国际人才培养计划负责人Grace Lee女士、ACEC秘书努尔利亚纳女士，以及本科生和研究生院院长Shahrul Azman Mohd Noah教授及其团队成员Nurul Illiyaliyana女士和Muhammad Haniff先生。GUET方面，教务处副处长刘庆华教授、学生处副处长程国新教授、国际合作与交流处副处长李祥斌及其团队成员坤燕女士和吴先生也参加了此次会议。

已成立的联盟预计将在不久的将来与大学开展各种交流活动，目前启动的共同监督计划是一个开端。联盟旨在通过这些项目展示大学的能力，并通过学生和专家的交流活动、研究合作和为优秀学生提供奖学金来加强成员之间的沟通和关系。

此次视频会议被认为是富有成果和结论性的，各方都热衷于启动计划中的项目。会议以集体合影结束。
