Video conference on collaboration between ACEC Association and Visayas State University

On Wednesday 16 June 2021, an online meeting was held between ACEC Association and Visayas State University (VSU) to discuss collaboration. Visayas State University is a university that focuses on studies related to agriculture, environment and sustainability.

            ACEC and VSU will collaborate on student and staff exchange programme to facilitate exchanges between scholars from China and ASEAN countries. Twinning programmes will also be offered during the pandemic, allowing students to obtain degrees from other countries without having to travel abroad.

            Cross-cultural courses will also be conducted online so that students and staff who wish to exchange in the future can gain an early and better understanding of each other's cultures, enhance their adaptability and reduce culture shock and misunderstandings caused by cultural differences.

            VSU will also assist international students by arranging Intensive English course and private English tutorial, so that international students can improve their English while attending other courses.

            ACEC will provide funding for VSU to subsidise exchange students, visiting professors, etc. to ease their burden.

本会与与菲律宾维萨亚大学召开合作视频会议

2021年6月16日星期三，本会与菲律宾维萨亚大学进行了线上会议，商讨合作事宜。维萨亚大学研究了许多关于农业、环境以及可持续性方面的相关课题。

      双方将合作开展学生以及教职员的互换项目，以促进中国以及东盟国家之间学者们的交流。在疫情期间也会开展双联课程，让学生不用出国也可以取得其他国家的学位。

      双方也将开展远距的跨文化课程，以让有意在未来进行交换的学生、教职员们可以提早以及更清楚地了解对方的文化，加强适应性，减少跨文化冲击以及文化差异所带来的误解。

      维萨亚大学也将尽力协助国际留学生们，为学生们安排英文加强课程以及英文辅导，好让国际留学生在上着其它学分课的同时也能提高英文水平。

      本会也将为维萨亚大学筹备资金，以补贴交换生、客座教授等，以减轻他们的负担。

ACEC与维萨亚大学商讨合作事宜
