Initiative signing ceremony between ACEC Association and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM); ACEC与马来西亚理科大学签署合作倡议

On 29 August 2022, ACEC Association and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) signed the Belt and Road Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration Initiative.

Established in 1969, USM is the second university in Malaysia and is ranked 147th in the 2022 QS World University Rankings. USM offers courses ranging from natural sciences, applied sciences, medicine and health sciences, to building technology, social sciences, and education. In 2008, it became the first university selected by the Malaysian government to participate in the Accelerated Programme for Excellence (APEX). There are more than 30,000 students.

Accompanied by officers from both parties, Mr. Yang Chengcheng, Executive Regional Director of ACEC Association and Professor Dato' Dr. Faisal Rafiq Mahamd Adikan, FASc., Vice-Chancellor of USM formally signed the cooperation initiative. The cooperation initiative signed this time marks the cooperation between the two parties entering a deeper level and will further promote the complementarity of various business resources of the two parties, providing mutual benefit and win-win results. After the signing ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of USM accepted the letter of appointment as the honorary advisor of the ACEC Association.

Afterward, the ACEC team showed the association's past achievements to the USM team in industry-academia-research collaboration projects with enterprises and universities, as well as the details of the seminars that ACEC has helped other universities to host many times. Therefore, the two sides finally conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as future students' participation in corporate internship training projects, seminar cooperation and other topics.

2022年8月29日，亚洲一带一路文化教育合作促进会（ACEC Association）与马来西亚理科大学（Universiti Sains Malaysia）签署一带一路产学研合作倡议。

马来西亚理科大学成立于1969年，是马来西亚第二所大学，在2022年QS世界大学排名中位居第147名。理大提供从自然科学、应用科学、医学与健康科学，到建筑技术、社会科学以及教育等各方面的课程，并于2008年成为第一所被马来西亚政府选中参与卓越计划（APEX）的大学，目前有三万余名学生。

在双方人员陪同见证下，ACEC执行会长杨程成先生与理大校长费萨尔拉菲克（Professor Dato' Dr. Faisal Rafiq Mahamd Adikan, FASc.）正式签署合作倡议。本次签署的合作倡议，标志着双方合作进入更深层次，将进一步推动双方各项业务资源互补、互利共赢。签署仪式后，理大校长接受聘书，成为ACEC的荣誉顾问。

随后，ACEC团队向理大团队展示了过往与企业、高校在产学研合作项目上的成果，以及ACEC多次帮助各所高校主办的研讨会细节。因此，双方最后就未来学生参与企业实习实训项目、研讨会合作等课题进行了深入交流和探讨，双方将根据此次会谈情况进一步落实互助合作。
